I guess everyone who doesn't ride has a reason not to, just like we all have reasons we do. Some are afraid, some don't like the "Biker" image, some just don't know what they're missing. I'm the only one in my family who got bitten by the bug and none of the rest of them understand.
Just remember; It takes all kinds to fill the freeways.
